We are re-wiring our yacht and needed robust high quality wires specifically for cable connections to the starter and domestic batteries. This is because they sit in the engine compartment which is, as in most marine set ups, not always the cleanest or driest ofenvironments. These cables are of unquestionable quality, are easy to cut and crimp and will last indefinitely if properly maintained. Job done!
This is the perfect size cable that I use for battery interconnecting cables on large battery banks.
I am restoring an old car that has the battery in the boot about 3 to 4 metres from the starter motor. I chose this cable as it is very flexible for its size and being tinned should also resist corrosion. Your delivery by Royal Mail is excellent, I am a rural dweller, and Royal Mail can find me. The cable clips that I ordered from an electrical factor seem to have been lost by the courier they use.
