Looks good quality

Compact and good quality, solid appearance with good features. All potted-up including cable so should be very good protection against water ingress. Only downside is that the unlike unsealed units you cannot connect boat's cable to the inside of the lamp and although supplied with two metres of cable tail this was not long enough to feed through deck gland to make the connection to boat's wiring below deck. Maybe a common problem on sailing yachts where the lamp is mounted on the front of the pulpit. Three metres of cable tail would have been good.

Well constructed completely sealed unit with enough cable to connect below decks. Push-fits into shroud which is fitted to boat. Built-in hours counter which flashes lamp when reaching end-of-life.
