Founded in 1910 by Mr Furneaux & Mr Riddall who initially designed and installed electrical systems in large country houses, being appointed Exide battery agents in 1918.
After relocating to a larger warehouse in Portsmouth in 1974 the company direction changed from electrical engineering to distribution in the automotive and commercial industries. Since then, Furneaux Riddall has expanded into the marine and leisure industries.
Today Furneaux Riddall is a leading distributor of marine and leisure electrical equipment, with over 50 years of knowledge in this sector. Our customer service is trusted by both our trade customers and end users alike. We work with over fifteen known and trusted brands to provide the highest quality products that can be relied upon in the harshest of marine environments.
Based in Portsmouth for we have a trade counter and warehouse where we stock a broad range from tinned cable, LED interior and exterior lighting, marine gauges, leisure batteries & chargers, fuses & fuse boxes as well as switches and sockets.
Whether you sail, cruise, or own a campervan, we aim to provide everything you will need to upgrade or complete your electrical projects while offering excellent customer support for any questions you might have about our products.
