The leads are absolutely fantastic. I took the time to do my research before buying and discovered that one of the most important things for big jump leads to have is something (other than the clamp spring) connecting the two jaws of the clamp to each other. It's quite difficult to find jump leads which include the feature but here we have just that. The braided link really does make these leads safe and efficient to use. I jump started a completely flat 075 battery in less than twenty seconds using these amazing leads! Of course they didn't show any signs of strain. The leads remained completely cool.
The crimps where the copper wire joins the clamp are very good quality, and the clamp itself is fully insulated, with a lovely robust feel. The insulation covering the actual leads is thick and high quality also. The leads are extremely flexible and this makes them easy to pack away. Being 50mm, though, these are pretty heavy! They inspire confidence as soon as you pick them up.
All in all, a top class product and well worth the cost. Buy without hesitation!
