The introduction of E-T-A circuit breakers by Furneaux Riddall to the Marine market in 1975 seemed an impossible task. Boat Builders and users were predominantly using switches with fuses for circuit protection.
Ten years later the use of E-T-A circuit breakers combining switch and circuit protection in one unit has become normal practice. This has given Furneaux Riddall the unique position of having the depth of experience coupled with the range and size of stock to help in the design and specification of electrical circuits using circuit breakers.
