During 2003 Furneaux Riddall & Co Ltd's commitment to
providing their customers with quality products and service, and
value for money, was rewarded when the company was awarded a
Certificate of Approval for its Quality Management Systems to
BSEN ISO 9001:2000 standard.
Internet Website
Our Internet website has been upgraded to incorporate the Italian
and Spanish languages. Furthermore, data sheets are now available
for download from the site in .pdf format. Acrobat Reader is
required to view the files and a link is provided for
download.
White Knight Expert Trio.
To complete the Range of White Knight Expert Trio Handlamps, a 50
watt output model has been introduced. Featuring all the
facilities available in the lower output models – 6, 10, 20
and 30 watt outputs, Trio now offers long distance searching at
an economical price. All new Trios incorporate version 2 software
which gives improved battery management and a flash facility as
standard. Because of Trio’s design, it fully meets the EU
95/54/EC Directive. Full specifications can be found in the

White Knight Ultimo.
A 75 watt output model has been added to complement the 100 watt
output handlamp. Designed for long distance work and giving a
longer usage time than the 100 watt version both models are now
powered by an environmentally friendly NiMH Battery pack
The two above handlamps, make The White Knight Range possibly one
of the most comprehensive range of handlamps available. With
usage times ranging from thirty minutes to fourteen hours, there
is a handlamp available for every occasion.
Halo Plus2 Signalling Torches.
A new LED Array has been introduced into the Halo Plus2
Signalling Torches to provide a larger diameter output from the
torch. New high output LED devices have also been introduced
enabling the number of LEDs used to be reduced from ten to seven
in each array. Light output is 10% greater than in original
arrays. Battery consumption is reduced by a massive 30% using
this new technology giving a longer usage time and higher cost
savings on battery replacement.
At 7.14pm on July 3rd 2004 the gate went up at the Rama 9 Subway
Station in Bangkok to announce the opening of this new subway
system in the city. Furneaux Riddall is pleased to advise that
the Halo Plus2 HP-11R3RT was chosen for hand signalling use on
the new system.
The flexibility of the Halo Plus2 Signalling Lamps has allowed
two special models to be produced for Sweden’s
Banproduktion and Norway’s JBV Networks. Flexibility also
makes it is possible to allow up to three colours ranging from
infra-red to ultra-violet into the signalling torches. This makes
them ideally suited to forensic applications as well as standard
signalling purposes.
